The Life Safety Map mobile application is a free application that provides public safety services in each field representing safety to implement “creating a society safe from crime” and “preventing and systematically managing disasters” by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety .

[Main functions]

1. Safety information inquiry

- Traffic safety: Provides accident history information related to the area around schools, crosswalks, and road operations

- Disaster safety: Provides statistics and occurrence history information on fires, forest fires, collapses, earthquakes, etc.

- Public safety: Provides occurrence status of sexual violence, violence, theft, and robbery and information on safe green roads by time zone

- Customized safety: Provides traffic and crime status information for children, women, and the elderly

- Facility safety: Provides statistics on occurrence of electrical fires and gas accidents, and information on the density of old buildings and facility safety ratings

- Industrial safety: Provides construction status and industrial/fatal accident statistics

- Health and safety: Provides statistics on food poisoning, livestock infectious diseases, suicide occurrence types, etc.

- Accident safety: Provides safety information on falls and children's play facilities, etc.



2. Safety facility information inquiry

- You can check safety facility information such as medical facilities, evacuation facilities, public safety and safety, fire safety, and facilities for the protection of the vulnerable.



3. Quick search service for safety information around me

- A function has been added to quickly search frequently used key subject maps on the currently visible map.



4. Real-time service

- Real-time information such as traffic accident information, integrated air quality index, and fine dust is provided.



5. Map legend

A legend for the safety information subject maps for each field is provided.



6. Search function

You can quickly and conveniently search for the point you are looking for by location, name, etc.

- This application is free. Data charges are free in a WiFi environment, but data usage charges may be incurred depending on the mobile carrier's rate plan when connecting to 3G/LTE.

- This application is implemented so that it can run in the background when using the GPS function. Therefore, battery life may be shortened due to continuous use of the function.

[Supported OS]

- KitKat (4.4) or higher

- Marshmallow (6.0) or higher is recommended due to the nature of the map service
